Forest & Woodland Management Plan

A management plan can be a very simple document detailing short to medium term work programs, usually over a five year period. Larger estates with more complex areas and management objectives may require a much more detailed plan usually covering a twenty year period. Depending on complexity and the information required the following areas will be covered:

  • Background information
  • Woodland information
  • Long term vision, management objectives & strategy
  • Management prescriptions & operations
  • Consultations & monitoring procedures
  • Work programs
  • Thinning, felling & restocking proposals
  • Costings & budgets
  • Maps
  • Grants are currently available to contribute towards the cost of preparing a management plan, please contact us for further details.
